We sat down with the beauty @stylewithstarr on a freezing Manchester morning to talk all things blogging and personal style while getting to know our fellow Mancunian. What made you start blogging and posting outfit pictures?
It all started with Instagram, I would post pictures of my everyday outfits and I would get a lot of comments from my followers asking where I got a piece of clothing from or how I would style a certain piece. So I decided to create my own little blog so it would be easier for my followers and a space for me to just write down how I’m feeling, kind of like a diary.
Were you always into fashion / personal style?
I’ve always been into fashion from being a child, I remember looking at clothes in magazines and wanting that pair of shoes that no one else had.
Do you like working with new brands or do you like to stick to brands you know?
Both! It’s nice to build up a relationship with a brand but I also enjoy working with new brands and playing around with new styles.
What / who inspires your style?
My all time favourite style Icons are Debbie Harry, Olsen Twins and Kate Moss! But I get a lot of inspo from other bloggers too.
